With so many GX5 clones being created, how can you identify a real GX5?
Overview
GX5s were only made in RHD version, and all have Japan-language Chassis ID Plates. They were based on the GX trim package and the 1972 Facelift features, so be sure to validate those also.
All GX5 have a Japanese-language ID Plate:
(This plate is not unique to the GX5)
Unique Items: * Coupe or 4-dr Sedan * GX-5 grille badge * Tape Stripe on side * F5C56 transmission (non-overdrive) * 5-speed dogleg shift knob (wood) * Highback front bucket seats with cloth inserts
Also has: * Full GX package, as with other GX models
NOT * 2-dr sedan * English ID Plate * LHD * Overdrive
