Datsun 1200 came with carpet covering the transmission tunnel in the front seat area. Rubber mats cover the floor.

The carpet was a blue/back or yellow/black houndstooth pattern:

Rubber mats cover the floor of most 1200s, except for the rare full-carpeted car.
Parts
Tunnel carpet is NLA (No Longer Available) from Nissan in the USA, Canada and Japan.
AUS: Knox carpet fits the automatic tunnel, is a bit large for the standard manual transmission tunnel and will gather about the gathers at the sides near the doors. Fitting an extra layer of insulation will help.

From the factory, only the tunnel had insulation, a jute type. Additionally there are some asbestos heat shields on the floor.
Factory jute insulation was glued to the tunnel
Fitting carpet insulation will significantly quiet the 1200 cabin.
The Coin Trays will finish off the installation
