The wheel bearings require lubrication every two years or so.

Front Wheel Bearings
The front wheel bearings fit in the Hub. Bearings for drum hub and disc hub are the same.
1972 USA Owners manual (Page 34):
Check & retighten suspension parts ... Repack wheel bearing grease
Tightening
1. Tighten large nut moderately hard, while spinning the hub. Use pliers and not a socket so that the nut is not tightened to excess.
2. Back off on the nut, then tighten very lightly.
Packing
You can buy a special tool to pack the wheel bearing with new grease, but many of us find it is just as easy to do by hand.
Covering the hand with a plastic bag makes it neat and clean.
If evidence of an external grease leak is seen, fit a new wheel bearing seal:

The change matches the general H74 suspension change of Hub, Spindle and bearings. B210 was changed at the same time.

Rear Wheel Bearings

The rear wheel bearings are not easily replaced as they are pressed onto the axle shaft. They should be repacked often.
