Grilles differ between Early (round headlight) car and Late (square headlight) B310. Japan cars had (optional) Fog Lights in the grille, while North American cars had the turn signals in the grille.

Fog lamps were standard fitment on early GX round-eye, and optional on all other round-eye.

The facelift occurred with 1979 December manufacture, two months after the JDM facelift. However it took several months before these cars showed up at dealers for sale.
North American parking/TS lights are in the grille instead of the bumper -- unlike every other market.
Round Headlight
All early USA and Canada B310 models used the A12-style grille with all engine sizes (A12A, A14 and A15). Sedan, Coupe, Wagon -- all used the sedan grille. For this market, early means the 1979 model year and part of the 1980 model year.

Square Headlight
1980-1982 models in North America used rectangular headlights. The same grille is used for Sedan, Coupe and Wagon. The grille used is like the Japan-market Sedan grille except with cutouts for parking/TS lights.

Worldwide RHD Market
B310 is worldwide market used the same grilles as the Japan market. The main difference is that VB310 used a rectangular grille when the Sedan, Coupe and WB310 switched to it.
