昭和41年春の発表以来、サニーは多くの方々に愛され、親しまれま
した。しかしこの10余年のあいだに、クルマをとりまく状況は激し
く変動いたしました。環境問題。そして省エネルギー問題。その一
方で進む感覚の洗練と、豊かさへの希求…。こうした中にあって、
サニーはたえず改良され、前進をつづけました。
そして今、新しい排出ガス規制への適合を機に、ふたたび大きく飛
躍します。数多くの魅力の、ほんの一部しかお伝えできないことは本
当に残念ですが、ここにご紹介します。
新型サニー1200、そして1400。53年排出ガス規制をクリアーしての登
場です。
Since its release in the spring of 1966, the Sunny has been beloved and cherished by many. However, over the past decade or so, the automotive landscape has undergone dramatic change. Environmental issues and energy conservation have emerged. At the same time, the demand for refined sensibilities and affluence has grown. Amid these challenges, the Sunny has continued to evolve and advance. And now, with compliance with new emissions regulations, it's taking another giant leap forward. While it's unfortunate that we can only share a small part of its many charms, we'd like to introduce them to you here. The new Sunny 1200 and 1400 have been released, meeting the 1978 emissions regulations.

Everyone can enjoy the unique flavors and leisure activities. As the number of car trips increases and tastes diversify, the amount of cargo carried changes. The Sunny Coupe is designed to keep up with the times. In addition to the original hatchback, the rear seat is split into two sections. The passenger seat flippers can be moved left and right, and when combined with the large multi-space, five different configurations are possible. The Sunny Coupe may change your lifestyle. (The rear split seat is available on GL and above.)
