B310 came in many different trim level packages from basic to sporty and on to luxury. Trim packages names vary by country, but include low-cost Standard (STD), regular Deluxe (DX), luxury GL (Grand Luxury), up-market SL (Super Luxe) and sporty GX (Grand Luxury with Special engine).

Located in the engine compartment on the firewall, the 1980-up Nissan Identification lists the codes for the trim level. Unfortunately the 1978-1978 identification plate did not list the trim code.

** early Van Standard
** SPDX A (late Van Super Deluxe A)
* S = STD (Standard)
* G = GLA (Grand Luxe Automatic)
* A = ES (Coupe Elegance Sport, 7910-)
* S = CT (Standard sedan)
* Y = CITY DX (City Deluxe)
* P = DXA (mid Van Deluxe A)
* P = SPDX (early Van Super Deluxe)
* H = GL# (GL, GLA)
* H = GS (Coupe Grand Sport)
* H(LA) = SGL
* X = GX
* X = RSE (Coupe Rally Sport, 7910-)
* X(LA) = SGX
* J = DXA (late Van Deluxe A)

USA

USA trims included Standard, MPG, Deluxe and SL.

MPG was a special package based on Standard but with a high-economy FU engine package and 5-speed.

B310 Trim Levels include STD, MPG, DX and SL

  • 2-door STD, A12A, 3.889, blackwall tires
  • 2-door MPG, A14, 3.545 FU engine with 5-speed, 155SR13 tires
  • all others: A15
    • 5-speed: 3.700
    • FED AUTO: 3.700
    • CAL AUTO: 3.889
