Chassis Lube or "Grease job" should be done every 12 months.
- Driveshaft (tailshaft) - both u-joints
- Most driveshafts have sealed joints. Some are replaceable, can be removed and repacked.
- Some have non-replaceable joints.
- Steering linkage
- 4 side rod ends
- both ends of Cross Rod
- Ball joints, one each side
Unfortunately many after market cheap aftermarket manufactured joints are non-greasable types.
And many just have a plug - no grease-gun nipple. However, you can simply remove the plug and put a nipple on it, and then can grease it.
