Desmond Govender's Nissan 1400 LDV with turbo power. It is one seriously hot bakkie!

Overview
In 2004, Desmond bought this bakkie. Desmond initially owned a Mazda 2L 16V EGI bakkie, before opting for a turbo’d version of the EGI, in the 1400 shell.
The bakkie has made 221Kw on the rear wheel at 1 bar boost which is very impressive, and at this boost, the former owner managed a best time of 13.1 seconds at Wesbank on street tyres ... extremely impressive!
The vehicle runs at 0.5 bar boost for daily use.

Exterior
The bakkie is fitted with Burner Rims wrapped in Nankang 205/40/17. it does have GTI disk brakes at the rear and has a full 76mm Exhaust system from the front to rear.
The colour is very awesome on this bakkie in a Pearl black/blue colour. There aren’t any decals etc on the vehicle apart from a “GATEWAY HYDRAULICS” windscreen sticker since seeing that Desmond belongs to their crew!
Interior
The interior is pretty much stock, but Desmond does have plans to put in his bucket seats in the near future.
