Some newer Nissans are fitted with electronic speedometer, which uses a signal sender bolted to the gearbox (instead of the cable drive).

The A14/A15 60-series gearbox can take an electronic sender for electronic speedometer, you can unbolt the cable drive and bolt in sender from S13 or R31 71C gearbox.
