GL and GX trim Datsun 1200s used illuminated electrical switch knobs. For the 1972 US market, the electrical switch knobs were redesigned to use words instead of symbols. Then in 1973 all USA 1200s adopted the illuminated knobs.

Overview

Original H1000 type, used from begining through 1994:

• Shifter Knob

Cigarette Lighter Knob is integral with the heating element. One from most cars, Japanese or American will fit.

H70 Type: Green knob with words and illumination (B210 also uses this as standard fitment) except for the headlight switch.
