Mitsubishi T4T series of distributors came in points and electronic versions. It is a very versatile distributor body that could be fitted with different guts including Electronic Ignition. It was a second source for various Nissan designs (e.g. can replace Hitachi distributors in some applications).

Overview

Fitted to various Nissan, Subaru, Mitsubishi and Suzuki models from around 1975-1995.

Bolt-on Cap

For A12 engine, T4T was fitted with regular (contact points) through October 1989. From there on it was fitted with Electronic Ignition.
