An Introduction to the Datsun 1200
Welcome to the Datsun 1200 Club. Obviously this club is for Datsun 1200 owners and enthusiasts to discuss ... well Datsun 1200s or any Datsun for that matter.
This group is not heavily moderated, we regulary discuss most forms of petrol burning rubber smoking stereo thumping transportation in off topic catagories!
So what is a Datsun 1200? All the way back with the hippies in the late sixties, some engineer buried in Tokyo working at an established car manufacturer, Datsun, designed the simplest car to maintain that the world has ever seen.
The little monsters just keep on going! Here it is, past the year 2000, over 30 years later, they are still goin strong. We are building, disassembling, assembling, tuning, polishing, cursing, stripping, cleaning, painting, upgrading and of course, driving these little gems with much pride!!
