The standard equipment tires for Datsun 1200 were Bridgestone, and now (2015) Bridgestone (ブリギストン) is the largest manufacturer of tires in the world (Michelin is second). Also, during the 1970s and 1980s Bridestone made many classic alloy wheel designs.
