Overview
Chassis fuel line comes from the Fuel Tank into the Engine Bay. A rubber hose will connect it to the Fuel Filter
From the filter, a rubber hose goes to the Fuel pump, then out to the #Fuel Rail
Hose Clamps
The factory Datsun 1200 hose clamps are spring-loaded, and therefore superior to a worm-drive hose clamp. These keep tension as the temperature varies from hot to cold.
If these leak, they are either not tight enough, or were tightened too much. Never tighten to the point of damaging the rubber hose material.
