Overview

The alloy carrier is weaker (less able to handle the torque) but is lighter at only 9kg, thus keeping unsprung weight down — a perfect part for the lightweight Datsun Sunny 1000.

B10 4.111 (37:9) sedan & coupe
B10 4.375 (35:8) van
B20 4.625 (37:8) truck

  • All use the same #Gear Carrier
  • The bearing cap fit over studs and are secured with nuts, compared to the B110 cast iron H145 which uses bolts
  • Instead of the inexpensive crush sleeve that the cast iron H145 uses, the alloy unit uses reusable shims for side bearing preload

Distinguishing feature: studs fasten the bearing caps (cast iron carriers use bolts)
