<-- back to Choosing A Carburetor

OER Corporation of Osaka was established 1966 as 有限会社エスケーエンジニアリング (SK Engineering Ltd.) and renamed 株式会社オーイーアール (OER Corporation) in 1991.

SK Turbo kit was developed and marketed 1979.

SK carburetor was developed by SK Engineering for racing purpose 1983-1986 and the first SK Carburetor Kits launched 1987. Fits the standard Weber DCOE carburetor manifolds. Looks like a Mikuni, but uses Weber DCOE tuning parts. Has two advantages: externally adjustable float level and externally adjustable accelerator pump stroke. Only available in racing sizes starting at 44mm (too big for most A-series except racing engines). These appear to have been marketed by Sanyo Kiki of Osaka (not Sanyo Kiki of Okayama) who also marketed Solex carburetors and the legendary Sanyo Sport manifolds for 240Z.

SK Racing Carburetor

Now renamed OER Racing Carburetor
