You can add rear disc brakes to H145 with a Australia-built R31 Skyline/Pintara setup. Fits over 13" steel wheels.

Remove the axles. Cut the axle bearing retainers and remove the axle bearings. Now you can remove the drum backing plate, and but more importantly will be able to fit the adapter over the axles. New bearings can then be fitted.

Consider use appropriate shims inside of the caliper bracket to prevent the bearing from moving. The stock H145 setup using shims between backing plate and housing.

Handbrake Considerations

Fit the calipers facing forward so you can run the cables back and loop around and utilise the existing hand brake bracket and cabling on the diff.

You can use one of the R31 cables to do the RH side but the LH side is not the correct length. Have a brake shop make a new cable or mix-match at the wreckers
