You can add rear disc brakes to H145 with a Australia-built R31 Skyline/Pintara setup. Fits over 13" steel wheels.

H145

It will also fit H150 as H145/H150 housing ends are the same.

Use a brake proportioning valve to set the balance. These are large rear brakes.

R31 Caliper bracket modified to fit H145

Holes re-drilled for H145 housing pattern

Remove the axles. Cut the backing plate to remove it, so that you don't have to remove the axle bearing.

Lay H145 drum brake backing plate over Adapter, mark the holes to drill

Finned R31 caliper bolts to the adapter

Fit over 13" steel wheels

The factory adapter is thin, but adequately strong
