Front Side Members
The front side members from the base of the engine compartment; the engine crossmember bolts to it, and the hoodledges are welded to it.
Rear Floor
Coupe, Sedan, Van and Truck all differ in the rear floor area. All use a front & rear crossmember attached to side members to create a basic ladder support to which the floor is attached.

Floor Trim
See: * Upholstery * Floor Trim Part Numbers
In addition to the (optional) Carpet insulation, the floor panels have pre-applied asbestos heat shield/sound-dampening sheets applied. It is asbestos in an asphalt base. It does not appear to flake or grate, but stays embedded even if chipping it off. So likely there is no risk of inhaling asbestos fibres unless you use a grinder on the insulation. To be safe, leave it alone. If it needs to be removed for some reason lift it off the floor while wearing a mask. Do not saw or grind it. It comes off in large pieces with relatively little work in cold weather, but is too soft in hot weather. Possibly it can be cooled using dry ice, then chiseled off in large pieces.
