The Rear Engine Crossmember is more commonly called the gearbox crossmember. Nissan calls it the "Rear Engine Mounting Member". This transmission crossmember holds the rear engine insulator (rubber transmission mount). The crossmember matches the car, while the insulator matches the transmission type.

With a B310, custom crossmember are relatively easy to make, as there are three holes on each side of the B310 tunnel. For example, this long-tail 71-series crossmember is fabricated out of 3 strips of metal and uses the stock rubber insulator:
5-speed
5-speeds have their own gearbox crossmember. If you can't find the right crossmember, you can use a 4-speed crosssmember with 20 mm spacers.

Rubber Insulator
There are different types of rear insulators.
The 56-Series Transmission type of mount bolts to the crossmember from the sides of the mount, just like these stock 1200 mounts:
